2023 Spring Conference

The annual KCM Spring Conference provides an opportunity for college media students and advisers from across the state to gather for two days of learning sessions, networking and awards. More information about speakers and schedules will be posted here soon, so check back. Save the date, and plan to attend!

Kansas Collegiate Media Spring Conference
April 16-17, 2023
Drury Plaza hotel Broadview, 400 West Douglas Ave., Wichita
Check-in will begin at 2 p.m. on April 16, and the conference will conclude after the keynote/awards lunch on April 17 (about 1:30 p.m.).

The deadline for making hotel reservations is March 23. Room rates are $109 and rooms are being held for our group under “Kansas Collegiate Media Spring Conference.”

Register for the conference

Registration for the conference is $70 per person (students and advisers) and includes dinner Sunday and lunch Monday. Register your school/individuals here by March 23.

Kansas Collegiate Media (KCM) is the state-wide organization serving student media outlets at Kansas colleges and universities by providing support, learning opportunities and contests — all aimed at strengthening student media and supporting the important, democratic function of news reporting and information dissemination.
