The KCM Spring Conference scheduled for April 5-6, 2020 has been canceled.
A quick survey last week showed that only five colleges were planning to attend (from the 17 responses that I received). Since that time, some have contacted me to say that their college – mine included – have since instituted restrictions on off-campus travel.
I want to thank Amber Brawner at Hutchison for her work in arranging this year’s conference. From my understanding, most of the events and speakers had already been arranged.
The good news is that Drury has allowed us to cancel this year’s event with no penalty, provided that we hold our event there again next year.
The other bit of good news is that the contest will still happen. Thanks to Regina Cassell for her work in making this event happen. We’ll be working over the next couple of weeks to figure out a way to announce all of the winners.
If you have any questions, please let me know. Otherwise, stay safe and we’ll see you next fall at the adviser’s retreat.
