The calendar rolling over to a new year means Kansas Collegiate Media is preparing to host its annual conference and contests. Current information and announcements about these events is shared below.
SPRING CONFERENCE:
During KCM’s fall retreat and the Zoom business meeting that followed, it was decided to shake things up a little for the spring conference. For budget reasons and technology ease, the organization decided to try having the conference on Wichita State University’s campus. Moving to different days of the week was considered, but scheduling rooms in the student center and the hotel on campus dictated leaving it on a Sunday/Monday for now. That was true of the Drury Hotel, too.
This should be revisited at the spring meeting and booked right away if the decision to change the days is made.
Members can expect to get emails from Denise Neil, KCM 1st vice president in charge of conference planning, in the coming month.
