2015 Spring Awards Conference

KCM Spring Conference  |  Drury Plaza Hotel Broadview, Wichita

More than 160 students and media advisers representing 17 Kansas colleges and universities attended Kansas Collegiate Media’s Spring Awards conference April 12-13 at the Drury Plaza Hotel Broadview in Wichita.

In the overall category competition there were 29 entries with the following breakdown:
Online – 7
Two-year newspaper – 6
Four-year public newspaper – 4
Four-year private newspaper – 4
Yearbook – 4
Magazine – 4

There were 1,370 individual entries among the following divisions:
Online – 58
Two-year newspaper – 398
Four-year public newspaper – 276
Four-year private newspaper – 340
Yearbook/magazine – 298
